3. Multiplication

The third step of the order of operations is multiplication.

Ex. (3-2)2 x 4 = 4

                          ↓

             1 x 4 = 4

 4. Division

The fourth step of the order of operations is division.

5. Addition  

The fifth step of the order of operations is addition.

 


6. Subtraction 

The last step of the order of operations is subtraction.
