–Order of operations is the order
in which you solve a math
problem with many components.
–The first rule of order of
operations is P.E.M.D.A.S.
–Don’t forget to solve the problem
from left to right!
1. Parentheses
and brackets (grouping symbols)

and when we put
numbers and operation in between them, it forms a group.
Symbol of brackets [ ]
Brackets work exactly the same way, they just
different shape
example :
10 x (4 + 5) = 90
2. Exponents
(powers,root,etc.)
The second step of the order of
operations is exponents.
Before
multiply,divide, add and subtract
Ex.
3 + (3
+ 2)2 = 28

3 + 25 = 28
